Gerrie completed his BAccLLB degrees at the University of Stellenbosch in 2021, and completed his Practical Vocational Training at Hayes Incorporated in December 2023.

Gerrie was admitted as an attorney in February 2024 and works as an Associate in the litigation department of Hayes Incorporated.
